Santigaini
The word Santigaini means “October" in Gallurese dialect. Santigaini is the first selection, located in the municipal area of Arzachena, in the ‘Coddu ‘Ecchju’ vineyard.

Soil: sandy, stony soil rich in fragmented granite rock, typical of Gallura Vini training system: Guyot-trained on vertical trellis, 5,000 plants/ha Harvest: hand-harvesting Grape yield per hectare: 40-50 q/ha Firts vintage: 2003 Release for sale: 3 years after harvest Ageing potential: 8-10 years after release for sale Colour: bright straw-yellow with greeny-golden hues, slightly hazy Aroma: intense opening with floral sensations and hints of honey, citrus fruit, aromatic herbs, saltiness and lavender, alternating and blending and reappearing in a harmonious sequence. Flavour: rounded, lively and complex; the freshness, fruit and minerals blend in a single cohesive texture and provide a beautifully lingering finish.
