The aim of producing red wines to match its whites has led Capichera to select over the years the best-known indigenous black grape varieties of Sardinia. Thus, in 1997, Assaj\u00e9 was born: a blend of those indigenous grape varieties with a small percentage of Syrah. It is a desire fulfilled for an elegant and fragrant wine that nevertheless retains power, structure and identity.
\nAssaj\u00e9 means 'is something'.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes<\/strong>
\nColour: deep red with purple highlights
\nNose: reveals a splendid fusion of ethereal and vinous notes, where black fruits, cherries in alcohol, blackberries, myrtle, spices, eucalyptus, cocoa and salty notes are perceived at times
\nTaste: full, warm, savoury, with rich and concentrated ripe fruit and fine tannic texture; the finish is long and persistent.<\/p>\n
